A Cannon is a type of ship weapon in Elite: Dangerous.
Weapon Characteristics[]
The Cannon is a high velocity SABOT round fired from a large caliber gun. The Cannon does immense amounts to the target, but that damage is offset by its low rate of fire and the slow travel time of the round. The Cannon, like most Projectile Weapons, are best suited against un-shielded opponents.
